To Kill a Mockingbird: The Hunt for Boo Radley

I randomly had this idea a few nights ago.

Best. Stealth game. Ever.

To Kill a Mockingbird: The Hunt for Boo Radley: The Video Game

Dive into the underground world of Maycomb county as you take control of three childhood friends, Scout, Jem, and Dill, and embark on a journey full of conspiracy, danger, and sepia-toned racial prejudice. Dash across rooftops, climb trees, attack lynch mobs, and spy on Maycomb's darkest inhabitant: the reclusive and secretive Boo Radley.

Character Selections

Choose from one of three friends as you explore the dilapidated, dark buildings and streets of the famous fictional town.

  • Scout: Using her flexibility, stealth, and naivete, Scout can tread by almost unnoticed by any townspeople, sheriffs, or iconic parents. With her dark clothing and soft shoes, Scout can blend into any environment, using the darkness and sounds that of a Southern town to become virtually invisible. Also, with her light weight, she can more easily reach higher places and climb across virtually anything- say, the branches of a tree or the gutter of a burning house.
  • Jem: The athlete and angsty one, Jem can use his strength to hurl rocks, bust down doors, hop fences, and lift up Scout and Dill to reach new heights. Jem can use heavier weapons and objects, and is essential in any puzzle requiring heavy lifting. Use his puberty as an excuse to avoid all conversation from suspicious passers-by, and play the ledge-gripping game during tense courtroom scenes.
  • Dill: He can lie pretty well. That's about it.
  • Atticus: In this Harvey-Birdman-Like minigame, defend an African American man in a classic case of Southern prejudice! [Warning: Game impossible to win.]

Hiya!

Hiya!

Again!

If you ever see someone suddenly walk into a wall, blink confusedly, and then turn and keep going, their brain is probably filled to the brim with perpetually appearing thoughts, whimsies, and daydreams. Thankfully, my nose remains intact, but every so often I'll just have to spill some ideas out- even if the reader is someone entertaining themselves for ten minutes, or even if I just haven't rambled in a while, I'll need to get it out. These thoughts can appear out of nowhere, and they'll range from daydreams, to movie ideas, to social commentaries ('Cause boy, do we need more of those), but hopefully it'll keep me, and anyone who reads this interested. So why not! Read the ramblings and whimsical daydreams of a neurotic highschooler, and maybe gain a glimpse into my weird mind... like Psychonauts, but, you know... in blog form.
